Jamestown Hemp was founded in 2019, which was the first growing season that the 2018 Farm Bill changed the Federal restrictions on growing Industrial Hemp here in the USA. Therefore, as a newly founded business, Jamestown Hemp's mission is evolving with the industry. I will leave a history of the revisions here for full transparency. (** VIRGINIA SEED DEALER'S LICENSE PENDING **) [Original 2019 Mission] The mission of Jamestown Hemp is to develop and manufacture products derived from the raw materials of Industrial Hemp here in the Commonwealth of Virginia. [2020 - 2021] Tempoary Hiatus due to Covid-19 pandemic and its relating lockdowns. [2022 Mission] The mission of Jamestown Hemp is to serve Industrial Hemp Farmers as a U.S.D.A. Certified Hemp Sampling Agent, here in the Commonwealth of Virginia. (These plans changed when the number of sampling agents grew, and the concerns of Viriginia not having enough sampling agents for the first season of these requirement changes were no longer an issue.)
